Why is society so accepting to the Female/Female scenario yet it holds back and disapproves when it comes to the portrayal of Man/Man?

Human/Human, regardless of sex, makes for fascinating viewing and spontaneous bursts of thought! Let's fight our insecurities, let our insecurities be seen by the world and then be rid of them for good, never to hold us down again!
